I recently created a website and I now need visitors for the website.

Ive submitted my website to several search engines such as yahoo, altavista, and google.

Go to my website and look what I have done. I have connected it below. Write an article about your website and put links in the article that goes to your site. Once written and published (easier than you may think), go to yahoo answers and do a search for open questions that would be interested in you website. Give them free advice and connect them to your article for more info. It is a great method. I have other ways. Feel free to contact me with future questions. I am on vacation for a while and may not answer right away.

Does the google analytics code register a visit if I preview my local html file?

Question by Michael: Does the google analytics code register a visit if I preview my local html file?
If I put the google analytics code in my website, and then continually preview the local html file (which has the google analytics code in it), will that register to google visits each time I preview my site before posting to the web?
Won’t it execute the piece of google code each time I preview my page?

Due to the fact that the code is server side for Google Analytics, yes it will register your local visits. However, you can block your IP from the site stats by following the instructions outlined in this article:

It realy depends on the game you put up, and the type of sit eyou have up.
I own http://www.runempire.com and http://www.beginninghost.info and I know that if i put a small game on runempire it might drive traffic, but if i put a game on beginninghost (a hosting company) it wouldn’t drive much traffic at all, but have people not take me seriously.
