I have a (tested and working) 10Mbit connection which allows me to easily watch streaming HD videos online. Until recently, I could also watch them on youtube. Now, even 480p option sometimes needs to buffer for a minute, and the 720p option takes forever to start playing. What is going on with youtube?? Why is this the only site having problems? Any tips on how to speed it up?

I’m guessing there bandwidth has been strained recently as a result of re-encoding the videos in h.264

I want to play some web online movies and youtube but my internet browser always says “Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe’s Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player” I installed lots of time Flash Player. But I could not play. What is the solution to solve this problem. please help me.

javascript is usually turned on by default…so, it might be your flash player is outdated..

you can try a different browser…

these will help you…

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash (the correct way)

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation… this is the right way to install the flash player.

by the way, the javascript is turned on by default.

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly… try using ‘zillatube’ .

I know maybe the top 5, but is there a website that constantly does updates, or has a list of top 20 or something?

To the best of my knowledge, there are places where you can see statistics for most watched or most subscribed (don’t ask me where because I don’t care to follow such trends), but I don’t know about a statistic listing channels with the most uploads.

If someone makes a channel and uploads thousands of inane videos, I don’t know why anyone would care.

Any online videos i try to watch play for like 2 seconds then stop, and they dont have sound either. This has never happened before. I am using internet explorer. Help?

Try refreshing the webpage

or…

Turn off web accelerator, if you have one – it may be conflicting with youtube.

or..

It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
