I love making lists and ranking things from best to worst (ex: top 10 Disney movies, 10 best bands ever, etc.) and was wondering if anyone knows of a website that allows you to do this. I’ve looked and haven’t found one yet but I find it hard to believe that there’s not something like this out there so am I missing something? I know there’s “rankable” for twitter but that’s not really what I’m looking for. Any ideas or suggestions where to look? Thanks!

i made a site about configuring the psp for internet access the other day and have been trying to submit it to google. It says that the google bot has seen it but it doesnt appear when i check on google. Is there any way i can submit my site for free and quick like within 24-48 hours.

I’ve looked up different ways to make your own website, but how do you go about it and do you really need to pay for web space and such or is there a site that allows you to create your own website for free (which would be the valued choice). Could anyone possibly help me?

You can run a web server on your own computer – that’s free. Your provider probably gives you some free web space (in the last 10 years or so, no one seems to be aware of this.)

To actually create the site, you just write it – you don’t need anything but knowledge – and you can’t do it without knowledge, unless you use a site that’s already created. Look at http://www.opensourcecms.com/ play with the demos and, if you find one you like, download it. (You could upload it to your site at your provider’s and set it up pretty easily.)

Some applications go online (in background) to check for updates etc. behind the scenes and I have no control to stop them. Can any software/tool do this ?

The easiest way is to install Google Analytics – itll give you info from the time you installed it onwards. Its just a small bit of javascript you insert into your page source.

To the best of my knowledge, there are places where you can see statistics for most watched or most subscribed (don’t ask me where because I don’t care to follow such trends), but I don’t know about a statistic listing channels with the most uploads.

If someone makes a channel and uploads thousands of inane videos, I don’t know why anyone would care.

The Internet is international – like 12-Midnight in California is 4PM in London and so there is a peak time for every country spread out through the 24 hours of the day
