Q&A: How do I design a free classified ads website without knowing how to code?
Question by L B: How do I design a free classified ads website without knowing how to code?
Hi,
I want to design a classified ad website similar to craigslist (but have a low budget of around 2,000 and do not know how to code). I have researched and there are many ways to go about it and a lot of it is over my head and frankly my budget doesn’t include all of those options.
So far the best method I have found would be to use adobe business catalyst to create a classified ad website—but I’m not sure how to go about doing that exactly and I’m unsure if you would still need to a script for this method.
Any Advice? Thanks!

Advice.
This is a bad idea. Drop it. I could make you a site just like Craigslist. It’s basic computer programming if you go to college and major in computing but your problem is getting web traffic. These sites require millions of members. You have failed before you have begun. DO NOT TRY THIS.
Try something else online

Does the google analytics code register a visit if I preview my local html file?
Question by Michael: Does the google analytics code register a visit if I preview my local html file?
If I put the google analytics code in my website, and then continually preview the local html file (which has the google analytics code in it), will that register to google visits each time I preview my site before posting to the web?
Won’t it execute the piece of google code each time I preview my page?

Due to the fact that the code is server side for Google Analytics, yes it will register your local visits. However, you can block your IP from the site stats by following the instructions outlined in this article:

I need Google Analytics code to exclude my own internal traffic?
Question by Charles Marshall: I need Google Analytics code to exclude my own internal traffic?
Hello – I want to exclude my own internal traffic from Google
Analytics. I have a dynamic address, and the only common digits within
my IP address is that it starts with either 85.1.***.** or 85.3.***.**
I have been using the IP exclusion code ^85\.*\.*\.*$ , but Analytics is still picking up my internal traffic, so clearly I’ve got it wrong.
Can anyone tell me please what the code should be?

I don’t know much about Regular Expressions, but I am actually trying to learn.
I did some yahoo search and found a website, modified the expression and came up with this:
^85\.(25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|
[0-1]{1}[0-9]{2}|[1-9]{1}
[0-9]{1}|[1-9]|0)\.(25[0-5]|
2[0-4][0-9]|[0-1]{1}[0-9]
{2}|[1-9]{1}[0-9]{1}|[1-9]|0)
\.(25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[0-1]
{1}[0-9]{2}|[1-9]{1}[0-9]
{1}|[0-9])$
(I had to break it down for the textbox editor)
I tested it and it seems to work just fine.
I hope that helps
